RECRUITMENT OF ENGINEER TRAINEES (Civil & Electrical) in WAPCOS LIMITED

REQUISITE QUALIFICATION:
  • Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology with not less than 65% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate taking average of all the semesters/years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester/year by the Institute/University.
  • Final year/semester students are also eligible provided they have 65% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of semesters/years up to pre-final examination. However, their cases will be considered only if, he/she passes the final examination with requisite percentage of marks/CGPA.
AGE LIMIT:
  • Maximum Age limit is 27 years as on 01.07.2014 i.e. candidates born before 01.07.1987 need not apply.
COMPENSATION/PAY PACKAGE:
  • Candidates who will be appointed as Engineer Trainee (Civil/Electrical) will be paid basic pay @ Rs.16400/-in the revised pay scale of Rs.16400-40500 (IDA) plus HRA, IDA as admissible thereon from time to time plus Perks upto Rs.5000/-.
  • Candidates appointed as Engineer Trainee (Civil/Electrical) will be on training for a period of one year with effect from the date of joining. On successful completion of one year training period and presentation he/she would be considered for appointment as Engineer on regular basis. He/she will be entitled to other allowances, facilities as applicable to regular employees of the company after regularisation.
  • No residential accommodation will be provided. However, HRA will be provided as per rules of the company.
SERVICE AGREEMENT BOND
  • The selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond to successfully complete the prescribed training period and thereafter serve the organisation for at least four years. The amount of bond is Rs.1,00,000 for GEN/OBC and Rs.50,000 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
